Whats been going on lately is .........

Well it has been awhile since I have last posted on here, frankly it's because I either forget the password or I am too lazy to type anything up after I do any of my homework. I also have a twitter (follow me) which I use and it seems ti get the message across just fine. I love twitter can I tell you, it's easy, fast and makes stalking people so much easier if I may say. All of mine tend to be about random things that come into my head. Either about school, work, life or just stuff I feel you need to know about now.

One of the topics I happen to twitter about the other day was for instance I was loading our fire place with wood after starting it form nothing I mean nothing but a few warm coals. So I go outside after bundling up, I grab the cart to fill, the wood looks all fuzzy with the frost on it, kinda pretty. And of course I forget gloves and quickly grab the wood and throw it into the cart making all sorts of noise. What do I care if people are sleeping its 8 in the morning on a Wednesday if your not up well then you are now. So I finished and went back inside. Fortunately for me I don't have to cut any of it, so I grab some and bring it into the revived fire. Well before I could load the darn thing all the wood is jumping out of my arms because it's so frost bitten that it wants to be warmed up too.

And one more thing I went to open the cat food before they go crazy and gnaw off my leg, I open the bag and there is a surprise inside!? No cool, I don't even get those anymore in my cereal boxes, I just get whatever it is that is suppose to be in the box. No a day if there is a prize to be received, I have to collect so many things form each box, mail it in and a million weeks later you receive the piece of junk in the mail. I'm surprised they don't make you do a jig as well to get it. Though one time I did get a sweet Star Trek Flash Light thing form one and I didn't have to do any of that. But that is besides the point by the time you do all they have asked for you, you have sent more that the thing is actually worth. What has this world come to that my cats get a surprise inside and I don't!?, they would appreciate it, what do they care though they are just hungry. I would love every now and then to get it would change things up a bit and brighten my day

My Mom Rocks!!!

So my mom is better than yours and it’s true, I’m sorry but it’s true. Does your mom take you to concerts and really awesome place and do really awesome things, well mine does. She may not cook, clean or do much yard work but she does fun stuff to make up for it. Like she has taken me most all of the concerts I have been to or has paid for the ones she didn’t go to. Well this time around she has a few more notches she can add to her belt, like she is taking my sister and myself to see Eddie Izzard a man whom I love, though he maybe a tranny I still love him. It is an early Christmas present though we won’t see him till January it is just that we found out before Christmas which I am so fine with. That is only because when I saw he was in Boston I called her immediately and said get some please it can so be a Christmas gift. Now if I met him it be the icing on the cake and I would probably die or cry.

The next thing she has planned is a quick and by quick I mean 2 days in NYC, but I’m fine with that we did it once before and I don’t mind doing it again. The only reason we have this planned is because on the 26th of September, there is this free museum day we can go to most of them for free, and she wanted to do the Intrepid! I am the only one who is really excited for this because I am a history major/buff and will never turn down the chance to learn something new on any given day. So I will give up sleep to get up extra early and drive the 5 hours to see this epic ship. My sister was going to go but she has a dance instead so it will be another mom and me trip and I am fine with that. It’s NYC who would turn that down but she is more into the school spirit than I am so it’s ok. She even got me out of work for that weekend, how awesome is she, like SUPER NOVA AWESOME!

If that isn’t enough she was mentioned in a magazine today, OMG can’t say you do that on a daily basis. And it was in one of her favorite magazines too, Q Magazine, it’s a British music magazine so she will be known globally not just in the UK. Can you say your mom did that and a news paper doesn’t count, those are mainly localized areas or national not all across the world! The article she was mentioned in was about Ant and Dec to “presenters” aka comedians and there was a Q & A section where people from twitter were able to tweet their questions to them and hope they were picked. Well you guessed she was picked, when she was reading them allowed we saw oo0o they are form MA sweet and once we saw her name we flipped. Our mom is like a mini celebrity, she has met Robbie Williams and we have the proof to show it and now this SWEET. Those are just a few reasons why my mom is better than yours, I can’t help that she can’t control her awesomeness, and she was just born that way. Maybe and I mean maybe if your luck to ever meet her she will allow you into her presences.

freedom, forks and pickles

As we all know 8 yrs ago today many lives were lost both young and old. No one has the right to take an innocent life and use it to make a statement just because you don't like the way we as a nation run things. We can all remember where we were on that horrible day and how we went from and everyday moment to one that will never be forgotten by anyone you ask. Regardless if you agree with the war, disagree with the politics or believe in the same God, we need to remember those who were lost, and thank those who are fighting to keep our way of life from being taken away.

On a lighter note I would just like to say that today I notice that I like to eat my pickles with a fork. I don't eat all pickles with a fork, if they are on a burger I just eat them. or if they are in relish form I avoid them. I enjoy putting them on a good corn beef sandwich, with mustard and cheese on a toasted bread (not warm mom). Pickles are one of those things that when you have AWESOME! but when we don't I don't feel like I'm missing out. Like I tell my mom you buy it or make it I'll eat it.

A night at the Circus with Britney

Last night myself, and my sister went to the Britney Spears concert. This was my second time seeing her on same tour and a first of my sister. Since it was the final act of the Circus I figure I would make it a birthday present for my sister and take her. Though I ruined it by tell her she was going after I bought the tickets. The whole day began with me having to work and Em getting hair cut. I rushed home to change so we could catch the next train there, cause I didn’t not want to drive in because Ted Kennedy decided to die so traffic would have been crazy for people want to see Obama giving his Eulogy. Once we were in South station we had to get to North station which would have been very easy if one of the frigging train had not gone out of service, but after we rerouted ourselves we ended up were we wanted to be. Next was to wait, it wasn’t that bad only because we were at the head of the line and were able to beat the whole crowd to get our memorabilia. I got 2 shirts, one says "ITS BRITNEY BITCH" and the other has a photo of her form the tour, with all the tour dates on the back. I could not decide between which one I wanted so I got both, I had the money and budgeted it out, so why not.

After we got our Britney stuff, we headed off to our nose bleeder sets, BAL 327, row 9, seats 1 and 2. Once we were told that we were going in the right direction, as we head up to our seats a man comes up to us and asked us how many people were in our party, I replied 2. He gave us 2 new tickets that were way better seating, I was expecting him to ask for money (because at another concert I had to pay a $10 difference) nope he gave them to us and said enjoy the show. We left and asked the man outside the door way where to go, he asked which ticket to go by, and we said the yellow ones begin told they were a better seat. From there he directed us to take the elevator and to go to level 5, so they were legit. As we were headed to our new seats we encountered other people who got up graded tickets as well. When we got to our new seats omg!!! Way better view and better seats themselves not like we sat down. Where we were relocated was Club Section 113 aka right befor the box seats!!

Once the show started Kristina DeBarge took stage, she only sang 2 songs but they were good and that girl can belt it. Next up was ONECALL, a boy band not quite what I thinking but they were alight, Jordin Sparks she was really good. She won American Idol a few years back, I never watched but she won and I can see why. But when Britney took stage it was awesome, she had circus performer’s before hand and Perez Hilton did a pre-recorded opening right before as she dropped in from the ceiling to kick off the show. She started with the song Circus and kept us on our feet the whole time. She sang a total of 20 songs, with costume changes and videos to keep us entertained when she went for a quick change. For her encore she sang Womanizer dressed as a cop. And just the same as I saw her before it was fantastic. I have to say the second was the best, she had tightened her dance moves and the costumes were way better and the view topped it. In all when she tours again I’ll be there in a heartbeat. The only bad thing I have to say was it was just a tad bit chilly in there, but all in all it was a good show and she kept us entertained.

For some videos I took at her concert go to my YouTube channel and enjoy. I also have other concert videos form others I have been too. http://www.youtube.com/user/spazlady007

Wonderfully Odd Cats

So it has been awhile since I have posted something so I thought I would write one about my cats. Why, why not is more like it. I love my cats they are like my children, and yes I have my favorite child I wont lie, it happens to be Raison. I understand her name isn't spelled right but ya know what I like it and she doesn't know the difference so why spell it with an "o" instead of an "i" she wont care. She has many a nicknames such as little shit, Jabba the Raison, or even fat ass cause she answers to all. How did we come up the with the name Raison, well have you ever notice that there bums look like raisin?? Well they do and my dad liked the same so we gave it to her. I think she is a confused cat and by confused I mean crazy, but she is smarter than she looks tho. Raison, maybe the shorter , fatter, less intelligent looking one and chews on plastic bags, but she can open the screens on windows to get outside if can. She also knows where the warmest places to sleep are, I left the dryer door open and she crawled in and proceeded to nap on the nice clean, hair free, warm clothing. I mean no lie you leave the bathroom window open she will claw at the base of the screen to get it open, than jump out it to the lawn and lay out. Raison even like to watch t.v. she prefers trashy television, but if there is something on that seems to catch her eye she will stop and watch it is quite fascinating. I'm just waiting for her now to ask for a beer, but I don't think that would surprise me.

My other cat is really my sisters but she loves me more. Her name is Lucky cause she is lucky that mom allowed her to stay. Lucky looks like she could know all the answers to the world but yet she can't open window like Raison can. though she runs the house and will not let you forget it. I swear she can sniff when you are under a blanket and will bug you till you let her under. Like Raison she has many a nicknames Lucky the hut, big shit, baby kitty or fat ass as well. Both the cats weight about 1o lbs I have been told. Lucky looks more like a cat, where Raison still has a kitten look to her. Lucky will eat about most anything, she use to like mashed potatoes, where as now it can be any type of meat, poultry or fish she is all over you. Where as Raison is very picky and will pretty much only eats cat food and some treats. Both though love to be in the bathroom when you are doing your business, I have yet to know why, maybe cause they can corner you to pet them while you are waiting to finish up? Idk but they do like to watch the toilet be flushed. I'm all I understand I own some pretty weird cats but I love them and I wouldn't get trade them of more "normal" ones any day.

Tall Ship - Sail Boston 2009

So yesterday my mom and I went to Sail Boston, it is a bunch of tall ship that only come around every four years or so. We were suppose to go on Thursday but instead we just shopped on Newbury Street. I got a very nice sweater form Brooks Brothers and that was pretty much it. But back to the tall ships, they were awesome! There were ships from all over the world all the way from Russia to Brazil. Most were made of steel or some sort of metal with wooden masts, mainly a mix of old and new technology. From what we saw and were told they are mainly sail powered but had all the modern technology forever. At one point you see the Constitution but since it is under construction it did not look as majestic as the others but either way it is/was my favorite. In all it makes me want to go to Home Depot, buy a bunch of wood and start building a boat. Later we went to eat at Dick's Last Resort, we ate King Crab legs and we got some super cool hats mine was paper that read "I still wear diapers 'cause I'm lazy" and than he tied a balloon to my mom's hair that said "I'm still hot it just comes in flashes." they were epic and we laughed for quite awhile after. Rude you might say but that is their thing, our waiter was good, he was rude and knew we picked it up quickly. It was all in good fun and the food was good. In all the weather was nice, the company was good, which made it a very good day.

David Tennant the only Doctor Who

Since I have the card board cut out of Doctor Who I must have his screw driver. Whats Doctor Who with out the screw driver, nothing I'd say. I don't know why I have such an obsession with the Doctor, he just has something that cannot be explained. For me I love that he get to travel threw time and and see all time periods. I would love to do that but unfortunately it is not possible yet so I just go on the adventures threw my t.v. I love David Tennant as him and will miss him when it comes time for him to pass the torch but for now I can watch him on the BBC for new episodes and re-runs on Sci-Fi if I must. I also read some where that he will be hosting Masterpiece Theater which I watched before but now I'll have too. And I always have my cut out in front of my bed to stare at if I have too, I guess I must enjoy the time I have with him before he leaves as the Doctor for good.

One offer

So her is my 1st blog post most of them will be random and will have nothing to do with much but will cover everything hence the title.

For today's topic Ill give a little insight to me. I went to high school and did Cabinet Making and now go to college for history. Two completely different topics but can go well together, how so here is my explanation for it - I tell people that I base my career choices around Harrison Ford. He was carpenter, I did cabinet making same thing though I know more than he does most likely which I am completely fine with. I go to school for history and he was Indiana Jones I WANT TO BE THAT!! so it will take a few more years of schooling to get the Dr. title but I'm fine with that I have been in school for 13+ years now whats a few more. Though he was a president and a fugitive, I don't know if I want to go down that route. I mean being the president would be cool but a fugitive not so much.
Or if I don't go down that path maybe Ill go after being like Ben Gates form National Treasure so awesome. Its just a thought I have yet to know what and where history will bring but I am so ready for the ride. As long as it makes me money to live and I enjoy I am so good, cause frankly I don't want to work where I am at now forever.
